Systems, stories, and steep climbs.
Product Leader and Builder. 25 years navigating FinTech, building people up, raising 3 boys, turning lumber into furniture, serving in local government and playing punk rock records.
I’m a product leader, platform modernization architect, and former city council member. Over the last 25 years, I’ve operated at the intersection of engineering reality and commercial scale. I’ve done it all, from directing mission-critical regulatory software portfolios at FINRA, to architecting multi-million-dollar rules engines and normalizing streaming open banking data.
Beyond the office, my worldview has been shaped just as much by my faith, turning rough lumber into furniture, and raising three boys with my wife. The whole experience is soundtracked by an enduring love of punk rock. Whether navigating a high-stakes platform migration or building consensus across a divided city council dais, the fundamentals don’t change: listen for what goes unsaid, respect the constraints, and design for structural integrity.
I don’t chase trends or vanity metrics. I focus on building reliable processes, disciplined engineering alignment, and high-trust teams that make complex platforms faster, cheaper, and more compliant. Above all, I value craft over corporate theater, and calm hands when the pressure mounts.
