My Story

  • Early Life

I had the luxury of having broad experiences early in life

  • High School

    9-10 at Episcopal High School
11-12 at Quince Orchard High School

  • College

English Degree from Brigham Young University

  • Temp Tester that got hired full-time as a Product Specialist only to get laid off.
    Welcome to the workforce buddy!

  • Off to my first startup as a Support Specialist writing help systems. I’m not sure I’m mature enough in my career to weather this startup. I’m feeling a little lost.

  • I think I found a home, but after a few months writing help systems, there’s not much to do. I guess I’ll help out with testing.

  • Masters

Part time MBA with a full-time gig, young family and mortgage is tough.

  • Okay, let’s kick this career into high gear. Get a couple mentors and start growing.

  • I learned so much at FINRA, but there’s something missing. Let’s head back to the startup world and move to Utah.

  • Well, I learned some stuff at Kuali, but that didn’t work out. Let’s keep learning but get back in my comfort zone to do it.

  • Having a blast and learning so much at a company trying to move from a scrappy startup to a mature enterprise.

  • The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.

Brett Clawson

Think of me as part detective, part builder—earnest yet playful. I listen for the unsaid, connect ideas and people, and craft solutions to solve real problems. My experience spans industries, my spreadsheets are legendary, and my broad knowledge is “just dangerous enough.”

Problems, meet solutions.
